In this role, I had responsibility for growing aftermarket revenue and maximizing parts margin. For the most part, this was achieved by providing detailed aftermarket requirements for new product development to maximize future parts sales, and developing new service programs to facilitate greater service opportunities for our channel and maximize parts sales opportunities. My tactical responsibilities included parts pricing, offering maintenance, marketing activities, and supporting manufacturing operational excellence activities.

AFTERMARKET COMMERCIALIZATION SPECIALIST

In this role, I was responsible for helping to define a commercial structure for aftermarket parts. I joined the "Aftermarket" function shortly after it was broken out from an organizational perspective, so there was a lot of work to do in order to begin to grow this part of the business. Most of my efforts were focused around developing and commercializing a succinct aftermarket parts and kits offering which would directly facilitate consistent service work in the field.

I was responsible for defining and delivering the product and market requirements for New Product Development (NPD) projects (which was facilitated by conducting voice of customer and market research) for three programs. I also provided market intelligence to sales and account management teams.
